The Chamber has developed the following items for sale. Proceeds from the
sale of these items helps our Chamber in it's ongoing activities to promote
THE ETCHED GLASS ORNAMENT SERIES
These ornaments depict familiar and historical Allendale
County sites. They are produced in Allendale County by B _ B Etchall, LLC
which is owned by Bob Bosler. They are available for $20.00 each, and are
sure to become a collector's item.
2002 Ornament - USC-Salkehatchie
The building where the University of South Carolina established the
Salkehatchie Regional campus in Allendale County in 1965. This
building was previously used as a public high and later a grammar school for
2003 Ornament - Fairfax Public
This school, built in 1927 was used as a public high and later a grammar school
for Fairfax. It was burned in 1977.
2004 Ornament - Allendale County
Built in 1922, just after Allendale became the county seat of the last established county in South Carolina in1919. It was gutted by an arsonist in 1998. Since that time architect Sanders Tate, an Allendale native, has developed and implemented the plans of restoration and additions to the new courthouse. A commemorative celebration and dedication will take place on March 19, 2005. (See

Designed and developed by the
Allendale County Family and Community Leaders, these flags are emblazoned
with symbols of our state and county. They stand 11-1/2 inches tall
(including the stand). They are priced at $5.00 each.
